Shaun and his wife Joanne started dairy farming in the 1970’s and progressed onto buying their own dry stock farm in Tirohanga in 1988, at the same time working as an AMP advisor around Taupo and the surrounding areas for the next 10 years.

In 1993 Shaun, Joanne and their four children moved onto a 90 acre block in Palmer Mill Road, Taupo, and in 2000 they purchased the “Vistalite” franchise opening a factory producing aluminium products.  They built the business up over the next few years and when they sold it in 2004 Shaun decided the time was right to enter the real estate industry and moved to Acacia Bay the following year.

By the end of 2008 Shaun had achieved 15m worth of sales, joining Harveys Taupo award winning team in 2009 to further enhance his real estate career. At the same time he completed a Diploma in Business Studies and became an associate of the Real Estate institute (AREINZ) which has given him a leading edge of knowledge to assist with all his client’s property needs.
